Attack at Blue Mountain being treated as murder

Jazmine SlemanA serious murder investigation has been launched at Blue Mountain after a man sadly passed away following an altercation at the nightclub last night.
The man, who was in his 30s, was immediately taken to hospital but later died due to his injuries.
The police were called to the club at around 3am and the surrounding area at the bottom of Stokes Croft has been cordoned off.
A police spokesman said: “We’ve launched an investigation following the death of a man during the early hours of this morning (Saturday 30 December).
“We have a number of areas cordoned off, in connection with the investigation and our enquiries are continuing.
“However we can confirm that the death of the man in his 30s is being treated as murder.”
Police are appealing for anyone who may have information about the incident to contact them on 101 quoting reference 5217295746.
