Bristol students revealed to be the most active users on Bumble

Finally we come top of a table

New data has revealed that Bristol tops the table of British universities for the most active users on Bumble.

Bumble, the dating app which requires women to message first, released the top 10 most active unis, with Bristol pipping Exeter to the crown. This was followed by UCL, Nottingham and Leeds.

The other loved up unis to make the top 10 were Birmingham, Oxford, KCL, Cambridge and Oxford Brookes, suggesting more singletons can be found down south and in the Midlands than in the northern heartlands of Manchester, York and Durham.

Bumble parties have been a feature on the Bristol houseparty scene

Since being released in December 2014, the app has taken campuses across the country storm, racking up 22 million users as of November last year.

Bumble users have 24 hours to reply to messages or else the match disappears.

The new data therefore suggests Bristol lads and ladies are either keen messengers or just very, very desperate to hook up.
