David VerryIf there's one thing we can all agree on, it's that free stuff is good. So the though of an 'on the house' breakfast at the SU is sure to get tongues wagging.
Announced this week, a new loyalty card scheme is set to launch at the Balloon Bar, with regular punters earning a free fry up as a reward for their keenness.
As with all loyalty schemes, hungry students will have to fulfil their side of the bargain before reaching the promised land — the calorific pay off kicks in only after the purchase of nine full price breakfasts.
Items currently available on the Balloon Bar breakfast menu include "The Full Monty", a classic English breakfast with all the trimmings, as well as veggie and vegan equivalents.
In contrast, the food in the Source Cafe chain on campus is the subject of regular complaints, both for flavour and price.

The latest nutritional giveaway from the folks at the SU, following last month's banana flash mob, suggests that times may be a'changin.
