Student Fight Night 2020: Meet the fighters

Fight Night is back and will take place on the 16th January at SWG3. There are 24 student fighters, with no prior boxing experience, who will endure 8 weeks of training at Kynoch Boxing gym and be pushed to their limits for our entertainment.

So without further ado, let's meet the student fighters who you will see on the big night and find out what they're all about.

How will you celebrate if you win? Go for a Snakebite at Bank Street after attending the other girls funeral

Hannah 'Haymaker' Foster-Rain

What is your ideal night out in Glasgow? Friday nights at the bar (bell) – no time for going out when you want to win!

Preparation for the fight? Just been eating my veggies, sweating hard and working on that fitness

How will you celebrate if you win? If I win I might drop out of uni because I was clearly meant to be a boxer

Preparation for the fight? Been training at least 3 times a week, trying to eat well and gonna keep it going over Christmas
