Lincoln has been ranked 1st place in a subject area for the second year running in The Guardian University Guide 2020

As if coming seventeenth in the main tables wasn’t enough!

Two weeks ago, we delivered the news to you that Lincoln has risen to 17th place out of 121 UK Universities on The Guardian's 2020 league table.

Well, we have even better news to give you! The University of Lincoln has been ranked 1st for Hospitality, Events Management and Tourism out of 48 UK Universities.

Are we dreaming?

Lincoln was also ranked 1st in the 2019 league tables, meaning Hospitality, Events Management and Tourism have held the top spot for two years in a row.

This is a massive jump from 2018, where Surrey held the top spot and Lincoln were ranked 12th.

The Guardian University Guide is based on results from the annual National Student Survey and ranks universities in accordance with a range of factors.

This includes; spending per student; student/staff ratio; graduate career prospects; entry requirements; a value-added score; student continuation rates; and student satisfaction.

Gone are the days of 'Goodbye first rate education, hello the University of Lincoln'. Lincoln is rising fast in the league tables. Things are only looking up!
