A temporary vaccination centre is opening in Lincoln this Saturday
It is being offered to those who have not had their first dose and are eligible for one
Katelyn MensahA temporary Covid vaccination centre is opening in the city of Lincoln this Saturday and is available to anyone who has not had their first vaccination and is eligible to receive one. As of today, if you are aged 23 and over, you are invited to book your jabs, with Boris Johnson expressing his wishes to give all adults their first dose by July 19th.
According to Lincolnshire Live: “Similar sessions will be held every Saturday for the following three weeks after the 19th, aimed at increasing the takeup of the jab.”
No appointment is necessary for the jab, and anyone who wants to be vaccinated who has not had their first dose is being invited to come down. “The mobile vaccination will be manned by staff from local GP practices and nurses and St John Ambulance volunteers.”
NHS Lincolnshire’s Clinical Commissioning Group is also asking residents to “Come along and speak to us to find out further information about the Covid-19 vaccination and share your patient experiences.” This will also be taking place this Saturday from 11:30am to 3pm outside Shoezone on the high street.
