We spoke to dancing legend Jellyfish Man

He’s the super hero of the dance floor

Back in September, we spotted someone busting moves like Jagger on a Monday night in Forum.

After months of searching, we finally had chance to catch up with Trent’s very own Oliver Hillary – better known as Jellyfish Man.

When the infamous video was posted he quickly found out about it from Dirty Monday.

If you don’t remember it, it looked a little like this.

Second year Oliver said: “My housemate told me there was a video of me dancing in Forum on The Tab, and how I was proclaimed to be the ‘worst dancer at Trent’.”

Ollie is a member of Rugby League and has recently been spotted taking a dip in the Big O, dressed as a Jellyfish.

The 19-year-old admits the manic moves are out of his control.

“The rhythm of the beat. The jellyfish just wants to dance and I can’t help but comply. I’ve got many signature moves.

“Dancing is my paint brush and the dance floor is my canvas.”

Ollie hasn’t let his new-found fame go to his head and admits he only gets spotted when the daring dance moves are released.

“It doesn’t feel much different as the only time I’m noticed is when the jellyfish has been stimulated via the beat.

“I was once in the SU and a girl ran over to me and had the article on her phone, I was shocked as I didn’t know many people had seen it.”

Look out for Jellyfish man around Nottingham as he promises you haven’t seen the last of his moves just yet.

“I’m always getting the jellyfish out. It’s what the people want.”
