Varsity dates 2016 have been released
There’s no more Cricket LDOT
Matthew LanglandsUnlike last year’s controversial decision for Varsity to take place over 10 days in the middle of exam season, this year you’ve got the chance to revise.
Spread over three weeks, with the addition of two Super Wednesdays, Varsity 2016 looks like it could be the best yet.
Ocean goers can relax as Ice Hockey has been moved to a Thursday, rather than clashing with the classic Wednesday night – now the perfect debrief outing.
Unfortunately Cricket will take place mid way through the series, unlike previous years where it has been the final event, with serious rivalry going down on the last day of term.
Here are the dates of each event:
22nd April – Basketball
27th April – Super Wednesday
29th April – American Football
30th April – Swimming
1st May – Cricket, Lacrosse, Rugby Union
4th May – Super Wednesday
5th May – Ice Hockey
6th May – Hockey, Netball
9th May – Football
10th May – Volleyball
11th May – Futsal
12th May – Rugby League
