Style Diary: Amber

We bring you the fourth of our photo diaries of Durham’s most stylish students

Amber is a first year Anthropology student at Hild Bede. She cheerleads and acts and describes her style as ‘simple but stylish.’

Monday

Amber wears a navy blue H&M jumper with a contrasting white Topshop shirt. Styled with tartan Topshop jeggings, this is a perfect outfit for a day at uni. She wears vintage style Topshop patent pumps with a gold tiger embellishment to compliment her outfit. Amber accessorises with a navy handbag for a classy co-ordinated everyday style.

Tuesday

We caught Amber in another casual outfit and, as as seen in Charlie’s style diary, skorts are in-trend. Amber styles the Topshop monochrome checked pattern with a contrasting ‘& Other Stories’ plain jumper and a Topshop black bomber jacket. Her vintage red leather rucksack adds colour and character with her brown Topshop Chelsea boots.

Wednesday

It seems spring has arrived as the sun comes out in Durham, and Amber goes to lectures in a simple spring outfit. Her vintage style Topshop jeans and white Zara jumper has an air of 90s fashion and she accessories with an Asos brown rucksack and Topshop black brogues, brilliant for walking along the riverside!

Thursday

Today Amber wears a pinstriped ASOS jumper with a pastel blue vinyl skirt ready for this year’s spring colours. Styled with chunky Topshop ankle boots and a brown Zara bag, this outfit is essential everyday fashion. Minimal but modern.

Friday

Here Amber shows off her ‘black tie’ attire, ready for Hild Bede’s musical, ‘Chicago’. We love her simple velvet French Connection LBD contrasted with her Topshop pink accessories for that added girly glamour. They’re not too high, so her Topshop heels are perfectly practical and give her outfit a little extra sparkle.

Weekend

Amber wears a M&S pastel jumper with an American Apparel shirt, creating a cute preppy style. Tucked into a Zara denim circle skirt and styled with oxblood brogues and a Zara brown bag, this is an ideal outfit for a mooch around the Market Place.

Thanks Amber for sharing your style with us!
