Autumn Street Style
As the Michaelmas term gets underway, Katherine Bullock gets on the search for some of Durham’s best (and worst) outfits.
Ed
Shorts in autumn just scream look at my pins – obviously a confident guy dressing to impress with his fake tanned legs. These short shorts should be saved for rugby and rugby only. Return the shorts to your girlfriend and put the protein shake down.

Immy
There’s nothing as brilliant as walking through town at 9am and seeing one of Durham’s finest on a walk of shame. Spotted a mile away in last night’s skirt and smudged makeup, the oversized male hoodie is a useless attempt to hide the crop top from the night before.
Congrats.

Isobel
Isobel looked the epitome of autumn chic as she stepped out in a decidedly chilly Durham, teaming a plain white top with a floral skirt and a statement silver necklace. The satchel, that makes for a practical day of lectures, ties the predominantly black outfit together.

Charlie
Charlie has cleverly used this summer season’s floral print dress, but teamed it with tights and black boots to make it a fashion forward outfit for both summer and winter. Charlie’s woolly jumper ticks every box as the woolpack returns to the catwalk this season.

Rachel
One of my favourite pieces is a statement necklace that dresses up an outfit. This gold plated accessory bodes well with an oversized denim shirt and white sheepskin gilet. Rachel from Hild Bede got it so right, pairing her combo with black-laced creepers to make it appear to be an effortless outfit.
