Durham’s most eligible bachelorette: Alexandra Brogan

Alexandra Brogan is the daughter of Campbell and Fiona Brogan who hail from Edinburgh and are descended from the Scottish Clan Campbell, a heritage shared with our very own eligible bachelor Ferdy Campbell. She is currently in her second year studying Law.

As the Durham University Ski Race Captain, Alexandra is most looking forward to leading her team in DUSSC’s annual weekend trip to Edinburgh. She’s a big fan of her Scottish roots with her favourite holiday destination being the Highland’s infamous Aviemore, although she could certainly be swept off her feet to the more exotic destination of South Africa where the dulect tones of her Scottish accent may actually seem glamorous.

Her most prized possession is her signed photo of Hugh Grant, but such ridiculous hair is not compulsory for potential suitors. You must however have a sarcastic sense of humour, be well read and enjoy the outdoors…you can decide what you enjoy it for.

She’s not exactly high maintenance however, choosing a cup of tea (milk, no sugar) as her drink of choice and dining in “slightly better than the library but not as good as the Calman Centre” Palatinate café between shifts on level 3. Stalkers can recognize Alex in the dimly lit library by her mane of blonde hair, which she believes to be her most memorable trait as its full of salacious secrets.

As monotonous as this routine may seem, it will all be worth it once she’s moved to the City to complete her legal training and establish herself as a professional in it for the love rather than the money – because that’s why everyone does law right?
