‘Killer clowns’ have arrived to Warwick uni

They chased after a student on their bikes

Last weekend, a day after clowns were reportedly spotted in Coventry, a Warwick finalist student was chased by two masked clowns on bikes.

They were wearing ‘Joker’ masks and hanging around the Cannon Park area, scaring and swearing at the passers by, when law student Rishabh spotted them.

They chased him all the way to Claycroft residences and apparently attempted to run him down with their bikes.

Rishabh told us that he was shaken up and completely taken aback by the event, as he hadn’t previously heard about the ‘killer clown’ craze that has been happening all over the country.

He said: “Security asked if it was a racist incident and I said I didn’t know, as they were too inarticulate. They also screamed loudly but were not articulate enough for me to understand.”

Rishabh admits that he is now doing his food shop online instead of going back to the Tesco at Cannon Park because he was informed about incidents where these clowns have been seen with knives and other weapons. So he feels that it’s best to avoid such places on during the night until this farce ends.

It isn’t known whether the two clowns were students at Warwick, but the university security services have been alerted.
